Rx: Owl standing r. on amphora, head front; ethnic and magistrates' names l. and r., forepart of bridled horse r. in lower r. field, AP below amphora; all within olive wreath. Acquired from Pegasi, January 2015. The same obverse die was also used in the succeeding issue with Filleted Thyrsus, the earliest such obverse die link between issues observed by Thompson (p. 77). Another pecularity of this obverse die 169: along with dies 137, 163, 164, and 167, it omitted the customary row of horse protomes above the visor of Athena's helmet (Thompson, p. 75). VF
