George V Specimen 10 Cents 1921 SP67+ PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM23a. The single second-highest graded Specimen of this year by either NGC or PCGS. Its fields show the usual swirl of hairlines associated with presentation issues of this series, but in all other respects it remains essentially flawless, clearly produced to an exceptionally high standard. The last of this type we handled was graded SP66 and sold at our January 2016 sale for $6,000 hammer, and thus this far superior piece is sure to generate comparable bidder enthusiasm.
