George VI Specimen 50 Cents 1938 SP65 PCGS, Royal Canadian Mint, KM36. A very rare George VI Specimen type, superbly preserved in gem with sleek die-polished fields of watery reflectivity dappled with red-gold tone. Only six Specimens of this date have been certified by PCGS with none having been seen by NGC, and the last of this quality we handled sold at our August 2015 auction for $4,000 hammer.
