An extremely rare Proof of Record for the adopted Sovereign design featuring a 8-heart semée in the Hanoverian shield. Commanding fabulous eye appeal, the surfaces of this Proof are a vibrant lemon-gold in color and boast considerable reflectivity; scattered wisps and some clouding have dulled the centers but scarcely detracted from the visual allure. George's portrait is handsomely sculpted and satisfyingly sharp, more matte in contrast to the fields behind. Hardly ever offered, a desirable piece which may well be off the market for some time.
