Tied with the 1892 as the second lowest-mintage date within the Alexander III 50 Kopecks series, the present offering appears very nice for technical grade--a champagne-tinged wateriness bathes the surfaces in cascading light, intensifying to mauve at the rims while the features appear deeply impressed and not lacking in the smallest detail.
