Struck in the name of Albert II. +ΛLBЄRChTVS (double annulet) ROmΛnO' (annulet) RЄX, imperial orb within double trefoil / (annulet) ΛVЄ (annulet) MΛRI | Λ (annulet) GRΛCI' (annulet) P', Madonna crowned, standing facing, holding the Christ child, both nimbate. The rarest reverse legend variety from Albert's reign according to Richter and Kunzmann of which we have not been able to locate a single other example, appearing quite presentable for the grade with even wear and fully distinguishable features. Sold with old Dr. Hans Nussbaum, Zürich tag.
