IONIA, Miletos. Circa 600-546 BC. EL Myshemihekte – Twenty-fourth Stater (5mm, 0.55 g). Facing lion head / Bird standing left within incuse square. Hilbert Phase 2, M17 (dies A85/U27); otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Fine. Very rare, only five examples noted by Hilbert.
