Nero. AD 54-68. AR Denarius (18.5mm, 2.97 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 64-65. Laureate head right / Nero, holding patera and scepter, and Messalina, holding patera and cornucopia, standing left. RIC I 45; RSC 43. Iridescent tone, some porosity and a few shallow scratches under tone. Near VF.
