Crowned shield of arms, mint mark P with assayers mark Q below / Quartered arms of Castile-Leon. KM Tn1. Near Very Fine detail though not fully struck; sea water damage; date not legible; a better quality piece when compared with images in the online store.

Atocha stock tag included with coin.

Sunk in 1622 in a storm, the ship was located by Treasure Salvors, Inc in 1985. They retrieved "over 200,000 hand stamped silver coins" and have sold them widely.
