MACEDON. Neapolis. Circa 375-350 B.C. AR hemidrachm. 1.7 gm. 15 mm. Gorgoneion facing with protruding tongue / Head of the nymph of Neapolis to right, her hair coiled around her head with a bun at the back; ΝΕΟΠ to right. HGC 3, 588. SNG ANS 455-459. Very Fine; old toning; small old scratch on cheek on obverse; strong strike, resulting in two small striking splits. Lovely style and type.
