IЧStINIA-NЧS P Є AV, facing bust of Justinian II, very small face, cross on crown, chlamys pinned at right shoulder, globus cruciger in right hand / VICTORA-AVΣЧ Z, cross potent on three steps; CONOB below. Sear 1243. DOC 1b. High-style artistic bust with carefully engraved robe detail. Unusually high relief and blundered reverse legend. Wroth attributes this issue to Carthage mint, while Laffranchi cites Rome as the mint.
