Of bright appearance, good very fine and extremely rare; perhaps only the second coin of the moneyer and type known £600-£800

Freeman records Ealdgar as a moneyer for the subsequent Radiate type as well as some later types through to the end of Edward's reign. All his issues seem to have survived in relatively small quantities
