Edward III (1327-1377), Pre-Treaty period, Noble, London, series Gg, mm. cross 3 on rev. only, large e in centre of rev., two pellets by top lis, small lis in second quarter, saltire stops, 7.68g/3h (cf. Schneider 48; N 1183; S 1490). Obverse struck from a worn die, very fine, reverse better £2,000-£2,600
