Jenkins-55 (O19/R42); HGC-2, 744. Obverse: Charioteer, holding kentron and reins, driving quadriga left; above, crowning Nike flying right; Reverse: Head of Kore-Persephone left, wearing grain wreath; three dolphins around. An immensely attractive and rather rare tetradrachm, this gorgeous specimen exhibits a well centered strike on a compact flan along with a beautiful light cabinet tone and problem free surfaces. In the opinion of this cataloger, a premium quality piece for the grade assigned, and worthy of much consideration and detailed study.
