Cr-443/1; CRI-9; Syd-1006. Obverse: Elephant advancing right, trampling upon horned serpent; Reverse: Emblems of the pontificate: simpulum, aspergillum, securis, and apex. Little evidence of wear and an underlying luster highlight this ever popular type. Though exhibiting some off centering on each side, all of the design elements are present, and it lacks the general metal and severe strike issues that consistently plague the series.
