Fr-11; KM-13; CJ-53. A one year type struck to honor Argentina's first military dictator, General Juan Manuel de Rosas. Handsomely preserved with satiny luster in the fields and only light friction across the high points. The surfaces are a vibrant lemon-yellow hue with hints of deeper honey iridescence near the border. Struck slightly off-center with the dies drawn slightly towards 10 o'clock, relative to the obverse. SCARCE at this grade level, with just two pieces certified finer by PCGS.
