Nubar Pasha was an Armenian-Egyptian politician who served as the first Prime Minister of Egypt, a position which he held on three separate occasions. This award was presented to him during the Khedivial Agricultural Exposition in late December 1898 for his 1st place Behari bull in the '3 years old and over' category. Sadly, Nubar would pass away just a few weeks after winning various awards at this show, dying in Paris on 14 January 1899. For a similar medal awarded to his son, please see our next lot.

Estimate: $1200.00- $1500.00
