Cf. KM-53 (for regular issue); cf. Gill-S21-5 (for similar uniface MET trials). A highly alluring and choice piece, this trial appears to be unmentioned by Gill, though he lists other examples of this kind of trial, but for 1966 and in gilt bronze (rather than silvered bronze) to indicate trials of the gold denominations. As such, a VERY RARE piece for the collector of patterns and trials or the specialist in Ethiopian issues.
