FRANCE. Angel d'Or, ND (1380-1422). Charles VI. NGC AU-55.
2.54 gms. Fr-290; Dup-372. Obverse: Agnus Dei, with cruciform banner, legends around; Reverse: Floriated cross in quadrilobe, fleur de lis in angles, legends around. Struck on an irregular planchet. A pleasing example of this desirable Lamb of God issue struck during the Hundred Year's War. The radiant yellow-gold surfaces show good central definition and just a faint hint of friction. Numerically tied with the AU-55 (NGC) Clapp-Eliasberg specimen that earned $1,300 in our April 2005 auction.

Estimate: $1200.00- $1500.00
