Dav-2377; KM-13; Mailliet-pl. LXIX #7. A premium example of this siege type, seen on a more rectangular flan than is typical, with delicate golden tone over the surfaces and bright remaining luster. A touch of softness in the central and top central stamps almost certainly prevented an even finer grade.

Struck by Prince Karl Alexander of Wurttemberg who commanded the Habsburg occupation force between 1709-13. At the end of this period, the French besieged the fortified city between June and August of 1713 led by Claude Louise Hector de Villars.
