Reverse: Nine line inscription commemorates siege and victory over Imperial forces by Duke-Elector August of Saxony. Our first offering of this type since January 2011, which may have been the last time it was offered in a U.S. auction. Nicely struck with old cabinet toning with considerable iridescence and strong underlying luster. Far superior to what is normally encountered for this type.
