GERMANY. Silesia-Liegnitz-Brieg. Ducat, 1653. Georg, Ludwig & Christian. NGC MS-64+.
Fr-3200; KM-401. An stunning borderline Gem Ducat of this always popular "Three Brothers" coinage. As nice as the type comes, this piece features undeterred vibrancy in the fields due to striking from highly polished dies and no instances of handling that catch the eye. Incredibly sharp as well, the legends are perfectly executed on both sides and the brother's motif showcases the impressive intricacy of the die work; only at the very top of the arms on the reverse is any softness seen. Altogether, a magnificent coin, existing as the single finest graded in either the NGC or PCGS population reports, and as such, worthy of serious consideration from the collector focused on elite German issues.

From the Linda Collection.

Ex: Kunker (2/2009) Lot #729.

Estimate: $6000.00- $9000.00
