Obverse: St. Christopher standing facing, holding Holy Infant; city view in background; crowned coat-of-arms and cornucopia, overturned and from which coins spill forth, to left; Reverse: Facade of the Stuttgart mint. The obverse design of this piece emanates from a 1740 ausbeutetaler, also employing this imagery of St. Christopher and an infant Christ. Highly mirrored and lightly frosted, a superb near gem.
