36.42 gms. Cf. Dav-955; KM-Pn36. Plain edge. Struck to commemorate Free Trade. A RARE pattern for the German Customs Union Taler, essentially identical in appearance to the issued design, only struck on a planchet that is nearly 7 grams heavier than the circulating issue (standard weight is 29.49g). Lightly handled, this flashy example displays a good strike and pale tone over both sides. Listed in the Standard Catalog of World Coins with a value of $7,000.

Estimate: $1500.00- $2500.00
