Huszar-42. By an uncertain medalist. Obverse: Christ and the apostles in ship upon the seas ravaged by a tempest; Reverse: St. George on horse rearing right, spearing dragon to lower right. Lightly toned and fairly well struck, this piece is part of a series of St. George medals, in both silver and gold, issued over the course of a few centuries in Hungary. An interesting and pleasing religious type.
