Obverse: Wreath and artillery shell before Japanese Army and Navy flags crossed in saltire; sakura blossoms around; Reverse: Legend in four lines in Japanese within circular maeander border; Japanese legend around; all within circular border of alternating anchors and stars. Exceptionally flawless and brilliant surfaces, with a highly attractive rainbow tone. Includes original case of issue and dealer's sticker. An exceptionally rare piece, especially given the state of preservation and the pedigree.
