KM-108; Basso-43. Crowned "Y.II." Type VI countermark on an 1834-SANTIAGO IJ Chile Peso. A SCARCE host coin for this countermark, especially when compared to other Mexican or Peruvian host coins. The example is exceptionally pleasing overall with highly original surfaces that show no signs of major abuse. Nicely detailed as well and as such, among the nicest we have seen. A coin that is certain to attract tons of type collector interest!
