Mostly comprised of unofficial strikings for unadopted pattern issues in brass, copper, lead, white metal and a couple of silver with many stamped "El Oro/J.J. Tupaz Jr." and/or "J.J. Tupaz Jr.". Many are uniface with a fair amount individually mounted on cardboard. Denominations include: Peso, 5 Centavos, 10 Centavos, 50 Centavos, 5 Sentimos, 50 Sentimos and Piso; a number of medals are seen as well. Subjects seen include leaders like President Ferdinand Marcos, Pope Paul VI and Ferdinand & Imelda. On the whole, the group displays a significant degree of experimentation in their varied metals, thicknesses and planchet types and shapes. Some have been cleaned, have environmental damage and/or have other defects. Close personal inspection is advised and will reward the diligent bidder.
