Fr-32; KM-71.2; Parchimowicz-1575. Obverse: Crowned bust in armor, right, MICHAEL DG REX POL.MDLR.P; Reverse: Coat of arms of Gdansk, flanked by supporting lions, split DL below, MON:AUREA CIVITAT.GEDANENS.1673. Lovely strike, unblemished fields, and rich honey golden toning.

Michael Korybut Winiowiecki, during his short, four year reign, was permitted by the city council to issue coins for his own needs, despite a resolution in 1668 that closed the mints.
