A fascinating example, not necessarily for the overstrike, but for the fact that the under-date is clear enough at the tip of the eagle's right wing to identify the undercoin as a 1655 Jefimok. The wear from circulation blends seamlessly into trace striking weakness in the centers while the peripheries remain very strong. Argent hues across the surfaces are warmed by gold tone along the highpoints of the design motifs.
