The exact number of proofs struck is unknown, but seldom appear on the market which is suggestive of limited quantities. A sharply struck example as would be expected with hard flashy surfaces and frosted devices. Light wispy hairlines in the open areas mark the grade with rich patina in the peripherals and amongst the devices displaying a slate color with light mottled russet in the fields.
