Pere-1095; ME-187; Barac-42. The "Bosnia Medal" (Bosna Madalyasi), instituted 1849. Issued for troops who took part in the military campaign against the Serbs in Bosnia. An incredibly RARE and attractive piece, featuring an alluring tone and underlying luster. Almost never found without a hole at 12 for suspension. The only other example without a hole which this cataloger could locate sold in 2007 for the equivalent of nearly $2,600 at the time. Worthy of intense focus and consideration.
