GREAT BRITAIN. Middlesex. William Webster Brass Farthing Token, ND (1851-1885). PCGS MS-64.
BWS-2990; Bell-29; Batty-569. Struck for William Webster (1821-1885), a London coin and medal dealer. Varieties that read "7 Gt. Russell St." exist, but the correct address was "17 Gt. Russell St." A delightful example of this seldom-seen advertising piece with light rose patina in the fields and strong brilliance around the designs. Almost never seen as a type.
Estimate: $80.00- $120.00
