IRELAND. Proof Set (8 Pieces), 1928. All PCGS Gold Shield Certified.
KM-PS1. Mintage: 6,001 sets. First year of issue. The copper issues are all quite attractive with plenty of original mint red and an iridescent sheen. The nickel pieces appear to have a foreign substance adhered to the surface, perhaps residue of some sort. The silver issues are lightly toned and kind of musty from prolonged time sitting in the original case of issue. Also, includes original blue velvet lined fitted case of issue.
