CHINA. Sinkiang. 5 Mace (Miscals), ND (1905). PCGS AU-58 Gold Shield.
cf. L&M-819A; K-1015d; Y-6.6. Similar to L&M-819A except with a small beaded boarder (like L&M-819) rather than the large beaded boarder around dragon (like L&M-819A). Evidence of being double struck and rotated in collar on the reverse. Lightly toned and lustrous; we believe the designated grade stems from subdued luster and light contact marks in the open fields. Overall a very handsome example sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
Purportedly from the Edward Kann Collection, but unconfirmed.
Estimate: $350.00- $500.00
