CHINA. Szechuan. 3.6 Candareens (5 Cents), ND (1909-11). NGC AU-55.
L&M-356; K-154; KM-Y-239; WS-0751. Likely much scarcer than the SCWC catalog value would indicate. This is only example we can recall having offered better than Very Fine and as such should be consider VERY RARE in this state of preservation. Considerable luster remaining with no signs of abuse, the missing detail on the dragon and the outer legends is typical of this issue. A highly sought after little coin far nicer than normally encountered certain to see spirited bidding.
