CHINA. Szechuan. 20 Cash, ND (1903-05). PCGS Genuine--Scratch, AU Details Gold Shield.
KM-Y-230.3; CL-SC.77; CCC-392. Variety with trident flame below "ZE". A VERYRARE and highly sought after variety that seldom appears on the market. An attractive survivor displaying lovely patina with hints of original mint red amongst the devices. Well struck with good definition of the details making it an easy variety to attribute. Thin scratches on the reverse from long ago mostly toned over matching the rest of the coin. Overall a presentable example certain to see spirited bidding from the specialist.

We sold a similarly example in our March 31, 2014 Hong Kong auction Lot # 31536 graded PCGS Genuine--Damage, AU Details Gold Shield where it hammered down for an impressive $16,000- plus the buyers fee.

Estimate: $9000.00- $12000.00
