CHINA. Szechuan-Tibet. Study Collection of Rupees (44 Pieces), ND (ca. 1902-42). Grade Range: FINE to EXTREMELY FINE.
L&M-359. All are vertical rosette with collar types. An interesting mostly attributed study group with much die variation worthy of inclusion into an extensive die study. Some variations included are thin bust, large bust, thin vertical rosette, thick vertical rosette, thin collar and thick collar as well as other minor differences noted on most. Nearly all have been cleaned, scratched, have environmental damage and/or have other defects. Close personal inspection is advised and will reward the diligent bidder. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. Most are toned to one degree or another exhibiting mottled patina.
