CHINA. Tibet. 5 Sho, BE 15-51 (1917). PCGS Genuine--Scratch, Unc Details Gold Shield.
KM-Y-18.1; WS-0299; Chinese Tibetan Coins-1-173. Lion looking backwards. A well struck example of the type with good definition of the details, though slightly weak on the lotus flower. Lovely light tone encompasses the surfaces displaying soft grey patina highlight by golden and russet hues. Light pin scratches across the obverse from long ago now toned over and matching the rest of the coin as noted on the PCGS insert. Overall an attractive example sure to please.
