CHINA. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding. Provincial Three Stamp Remittance Ingots. Silver 5.5 Tael Bank Ingot, ND. VERY FINE.
cf.BMC-Class LXVI Group I #951. "Fu Xing Ting Ji Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Fuxingting Bank, remittance bank fine silver), "Guan Gong Gu She Kan" (inspected by official public assayer She), and with added stamp "Fu Xing" horizontally placed along top. The left side wing tip has been sheered off obscuring a good portion of the ref left characters. Minor earthen deposits amongst the devices. An interesting aspect of this issue is the fact that there are two small die cracks in the upper portion of the bank stamp which would suggest prolonged use producing many ingots. Otherwise all stamps are well impressed with clear characters and a nice medium gray tone.
