CHINA. Silver Dollar Pattern, CD (1907). Tientsin Mint. PCGS Genuine--Spot Removed, Unc Details Gold Shield.
L&M-20; K-212; WS-0025; Wenchao-89 (rarity two stars); Chang Foundation-31. A blast white sharply struck example with lovely cartwheel luster and frosty devices. Evidence of a small unobtrusive spot removal in the reverse field at 2 o'clock as noted on the PCGS insert. Despite its shortcomings a flashy highly attractive piece sure to see spirited bidding.
One of the most distinct pattern designs during the late Qing era featuring a border of interlocking wave patterns around the periphery of the inscription.
From the Mas Fera Collection.
With old collector's envelope.
Estimate: $10000.00- $15000.00
