CHINA. Silver Dollar Pattern, Year 12 (1923). PCGS MS-64 Gold Shield.
L&M-81; K-680; KM-Y-336; WS-0114. Small Characters variety. A sharply struck and lustrous example with pervasive reverse tone displaying mottled rich slate grey with a plethora of iridescent hues that pop out when tilted in the light. While the obverse displaying a attractive peripheral tone in contrast the frosty mostly white devices. A wholly original looking survivor of this highly desirable and sought after type with good eye appeal.

Often referred to as the "Pu Yi Wedding Dollar", it is in fact a pattern of a proposed design displaying the national emblem.
