Compressed tea block, noted as being from Turkestan, 95 mm by 40 mm, dark brown and unmarked. Probably from late 19th to early 20th Century. Edges are slightly rounded from wear. A neat and SCARCE artifact from China's rich history.
Ex: Schulman Sale, 27-29 June 1973, lot 823 (with lot tag).
