CHINA. Tibet. Presentation Tangka (1-1/2 Sho), ND (1910). PCGS MS-62 Gold Shield.
KM-Y-14; WS-unlisted; cf.Chinese Tibetan Coins-1-132. Variety with three dots in trapezoidal panels. Struck for presentation to monks. Slight evidence of being double struck on the obverse at 12 o'clock with the second strike nearly obliterating all signs of the first strike. A well executed example with sharp design features and frosty luster. Largely untoned with specks of earthen deposits in the crevasses. An interesting example that sure to add depth to the next collection it enters.
From the Christopher Greene (馬祈) Collection.
Estimate: $200.00- $300.00
