CYPRUS, Salamis. Uncertain kings. Circa 500-480 BC. AR Stater (20mm, 11.23 g, 1h). Ram couchant left; ankh-like symbol to left, traces of Cyrpriot legend around / Ankh-like symbol with pellet in center of ring; floral ornaments at corners; all within incuse square. Zapiti & Michaelidou –; SNG Copenhagen –; BMC 27; Kroisos Collection (Stack's, 14 January 2008), lot 2257 (same dies). Minor flan flaws. Near VF. Rare.
