MACEDON (Roman Province). Aesillas. Quaestor, circa 95-70 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 16.57 g, 11h). Uncertain mint. Head of the deified Alexander the Great right; monogram before neck / Money chest, club, and chair; all within wreath; tiny B below. Bauslaugh Group III, dies O14/R83; HGC 3, 1110. Lightly toned, with underlying luster, small edge flaw. EF. An attractive example of the type.
