LESBOS, Mytilene. Circa 521-478 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (10mm, 2.59 g, 6h). Forepart of bull left / Incuse head of roaring lion left; rectangular punch to right. Bodenstedt Em. 4 (dies a/α); HGC 6, 926; SNG von Aulock 1683 (same dies); SNG Berry 1004 (same dies). Lightly toned. Good VF. Well centered on a broad flan.
