IONIA, Miletos. Circa 600-546 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (11mm, 2.29 g). Lion couchant left, head reverted, within rectangular frame / Two square punches containing, respectively, facing-lion-head and stellate designs. Hilbert H12 (A53/LH3-X11); Weidauer 130 var. (designs in punches); Klein 414 (same dies). VF. Rare, only 16 examples noted by Hilbert.
