Prince Edward Island "Commerce & Trade" 1/2 Penny Token 1840 VF Details (Reverse Damage) NGC, Br-916 (R4), PE-4. Coin rotation variety. The first halfpenny to be struck on Prince Edward Island. Due to its crude production on inferior planchets, the striking of this type was soon abandoned, leaving few survivors nearly 200 years on.
