Central American Republic gold 2 Escudos 1835 CR-F AU55 NGC, San Jose mint, KM15, Fr-3. An exceptional example of this scarce and popular issue. The strike is quite bold, with the leaves on the Ceiba tree amazingly complete. The surfaces are free of noticeable flaws and a wealth of original mint luster survives, particularly around the devices on both the obverse and reverse.
